9:00 AM - 10:00 AM    Tennis Lessons - Session 1: Tennis Lessons 6-9 year olds
Learn how to play tennis this summer. Each age division will learn: forehand ground stroke, backhand ground stroke (for both, one-handed backstroke), serve, volley, overhead smash, lobs, service return, game strategy for singles and doubles. Participants are divided by their age and level of experience. Classes will be conducted in two-week sessions, Monday - Thursday. Participants must provide their own tennis racket. Tennis balls provided. Participants must bring a water bottle marked with their name.Rain Policy: Tioga Hills Elementary gym for skills and drills for rain. (If it is not available we will have make-ups on Fridays)Director: Ryan Cummings, Certified Instructor, US Professional Tennis Registry.Registration begins April 15th for residents and April 29th for non-residents.
